Our “Final” Carriage Road Bike Ride – Sunday – July 28, 2013

Our month stay here at Acadia National Park is winding down.  The weather today is not the best…chance of rain, but we decided to give it a go.  So at the appointed 7:30am departure time we headed to the Parkman Mountain parking lot at Carriage Road Post 13.  We had three cars and were able to get 3 spots in this small parking area.  Yep, you have to get there early or you may not find parking!!

The Bikers for today’s ride…Bill, David, Syl, Dan, Nancy, Sherry01- Ready to Ride

We lucked out weather wise, for the most part.

A few drizzles and a little sunshine for most of the ride.

At the very end, just before we got back to the parking lot,
the skies opened up and we got drenched;o((

But as the photos will show, we had a wonderful ride and saw some spectacular scenery!!

This ride was really about the Carriage Road Bridges…I believe we saw five:o))

Sherry did a wonderful post of our ride which you can check out HERE:o))
