Our month stay here at Acadia National Park is winding down. The weather today is not the best…chance of rain, but we decided to give it a go. So at the appointed 7:30am departure time we headed to the Parkman Mountain parking lot at Carriage Road Post 13. We had three cars and were able to get 3 spots in this small parking area. Yep, you have to get there early or you may not find parking!!
Carriage Road Bike – 15.6 miles – posts 13-11-9-8-10-14-21-20-19-12-13
The Bikers for today’s ride…Bill, David, Syl, Dan, Nancy, Sherry
We lucked out weather wise, for the most part.
A few drizzles and a little sunshine for most of the ride.
At the very end, just before we got back to the parking lot,
the skies opened up and we got drenched;o((
But as the photos will show, we had a wonderful ride and saw some spectacular scenery!!
This ride was really about the Carriage Road Bridges…I believe we saw five:o))
Sherry did a wonderful post of our ride which you can check out HERE:o))

Too bad the rain couldn't have held off for just five more minutes.
ReplyDeleteLove the "deer in the headlights" photo. Cute!
Bet you're happy the Keys are so flat and small. You need to rest up from all that biking and climbing! :cD
