TOPIC SEVEN: GEOCACHING
Jonathan Dickinson State Park has more geocaches than most parks we have visited. Since it is such a large park, we used our bikes to go from cache search area to cache search area. Many of the places we searched, we had to bushwhack our way through;o((
Notice Nancy is never along for the hunt.
She does go with us, but she volunteers to “guard” the bikes;o))
Nancy here: Well somebody has to take the pictures and protect our property!!!
Actually, I enjoy the PEACE and QUIET;o))
On one day, we searched for 21 caches and found 19!!!
Geocaching requires planning and strategy.
Checking Coordinates Checking Maps
Occasionally, just poking the ground!!
We needed to look HIGH and LOW.
Yep, you do what you need to do to find the cache and sign the log:o)))
Just for the record,
we finally found the two caches that had eluded us ;o))
Love the pictures and the story! Hysterical!
ReplyDeleteGee, did you leave any Geocaches for the rest of us to find??? Some of those looked like jungle expeditions. ;c)
ReplyDeleteNice day's hunting:)
ReplyDeleteUmmm...Nancy - are you saying that when you are with us 4 there is no peace and quiet?!!!! Such a shock! ;-)
ReplyDeleteNo wonder you could find all those caches with that group of bloodhounds. I can see Bill was in Geo Heaven.
