A Couple of REST Days!!

We decided to stay close to the campground 
on Friday and Saturday.

Our campground is actually in Wears Valley.
 We drove the half mile into town to check out a couple places.

 Not much here... except for those CLOUDS!!!

 This place was really great... we'll be back!!





It took years...  but Bill has finally got it;o))

 Brian...  This is for YOU!!!

 Other than that,  we just hung out at our campground!

      We have 2 pair of hiking shoes and one pair of hiking boots...they are much more rested than we are ;o))

    What a lovely home you have there in the Smokies. The bird in question looks like a senior and slightly tattered titmouse to me. Have fun in those hills... and keep looking around, you just never know who may show up :-)

    Love your birds!! And the cards for Bill and Brian. Pink tractor - I could have used that about 15 years ago. Really looks like a great place to hang out for a couple of days. How's the heat? Thanks for the post I really like seeing what you are up to and knowing you are having fun in and out of the park.

      It is a great place. The biggest drawback is lots of driving and further than we had to drive to get to Acadia Trails. However, our location and campsite is much nicer than Narrows. It's all about compromise. The afternoons are HOT with thunderstorms. But early mornings until about 2pm are PERFECT!! So it is working for us.

    I think we saw those very same clouds but from the other side of the mountain! Made them look a little different but still, a couple of beautiful days.
