    Beautiful waterfall. Is that a paved trail? Now that's nice but probably not what those trail workers were doing. Surprised that there were 3 people ahead of you before 7am. Sheesh those folks get up earlier than the Acadia crowd. Beautiful pictures!

      Yep, it is paved to the falls. However it continues past and that section is not paved. We have seen workers on most of the trails fixing things and drainage issues caused by all the recent heavy rains!! Those 3 people tried to come the day before, but could not find any parking;o(( They weren't going to be turned away today;o))

      The suns up at 6:15 and it was 7:30 by the time we got to the falls:o)) Actually, we will not drive into the park until sunrise...these roads are really narrow and curving!!!
